About the Company
Dirty Bit Software was formed by Jason Hughes in mid-2006 to address the general need for tools in software development. Our goal is to create high quality, enduring solutions that address real needs. The first products are just being released.
Jason has worked in several game companies over the past dozen years. The same problems crop up everywhere, and the same solutions tend to work well, with a little tuning. Game development is extremely demanding of programmers, so there can be no question that "reinventing the wheel" is a tremendous waste of resources and time. Dirty Bit Software supplies suitable wheels to the game development vehicle, to keep engineering in high gear instead of building infrastructure.
